She was born in Gallipoli in 1982. From Salento she moved to Milan where she graduated in Industrial & Interior Design with the architect Piero Lissoni. From the beginning she started working with the most important architecture and Italian design studios. In 2003 she worked with Architect Luigi Ferrario in the realization of show-rooms and bathroom complements for the Russian market; in the same year she won the “Zodiac, sotto il segno del Bagno” contest. In 2004 she started to be part of Carlo Colombo’s team, developing industrial and interior design projects for companies like Antonio Lupi, Varenna, Franke, Poliform, Arflex.

In 2005, her interest to connect art with design, led her to cooperate with artist-designer Prospero Rasulo. This collaboration helped her to get involved in industrial design projects, graphic design, exhibition stands construction, art direction and corporate image for important brands like Gessi, Zanotta, Del Tongo, Foscarini, Poltronova, Terzani, I+I, Fabbian, B.R.F., Ycami, Terre Blu, Slide. Together they participate at events and exhibitions, causing her the desire to express herself also in the painting area. In 2011 she opens her own studio “moniamarzanodesign” dedicated to interior design, art, architecture, industrial design and exhibition stands. In the same year, she began working with Valdama as a designer.
